All Boys Cry, is as much a “coming-of-age” record as it is squarely secured in the R&B tradition. Exploring the evergreen topics of Love, Loss, Lust, Indecision & Self-Discovery, All Boys Cry finds the legacy of R&B in capable hands. Principal production’s helmed by Milton with a tag-team assist from Dana Johnson, whose Grammy-award winning credits include india.Arie and Avery*Sunshine.

On lead single Cry, Milton navigates the emotional terrain of the hopeless romantic captured just after a moment of vulnerability turns to tears as he realizes the love is unrequited. The song showcases a strong lyrical base as Rob’s coos permeate the slick production via intricate vocal stacks. Cry’s universal appeal has already found its way to international airwaves, with radio placements as far as Italy (Milano Radio Int’l).

All Boys Cry’s soundscape blends different elements of R&B in a unique and intentional way. Touched Heaven & Gone with Jessica Fox both match traditional guitar with funky, futuristic drums & bass lines. PWM thrives in the vein of early aughts Pop/R&B with an assist from Baltimore rapper DDM (whose impeccable skills were recently showcased on Netflix’s Dark City: Beneath The Beat film).

End finds Milton teamed up with the multi-genre musician B.SLADE (credits: Sheila E, Chaka Khan, Janet Jackson, and featured in the finale season of FX’s hit-series POSE). Milton & SLADE effortlessly revel, “How can you mend a broken heart and then break it in the same breath?” as their appreciation for 80’s synth and sonics oozes from top to bottom.

A cover of 702’s Neptunes-produced hit, I Still Love You find’s Rob reconstructing both the strength of his heart and the percolating production as audible plucks of heartfelt emotions cascade with every note. All Boys Cry’s finale is it’s brightest take, this time, Inspirational. His rendition of Walter Hawkins & The Love Center Choir classic Thank You, closes the project with gracious finesse.
